Please... *Update* *UPDATE #2*

Athena's personality is coming back to us!   She wags her tail when we talk to her, she plays tug with dagger, she walks floppily all through the house looking utter adorable.   My husband and i are so excited. BUT. There is a lump forming around her left prosternum (for a picture of where that is located look here www.worldwideboxer.com/Drawing… that appears to have a fatty form under it.   Another one is forming around the area where her leg connects to her hip. Actually on her right shoulder, now there is two more forming with the same consistency.   When we touch them, it doesn't hurt her. They don't appear to be watery. The only thing that i can find online that is close to describing what she has is lipomas. But from what i understand, older dogs get those? Not 7 month old puppies... yesterday we took her to our vet and paid 49$ for him to tell us that he doesn't know what the hell is going on. The only way we can find out is by more invasive tests and more blood work. I would LOVE to find out what the heck is the problem, but i've literally spent all of my savings just for the tests already done. (im currently living from paycheck to paycheck..)   Its been so frustrating to use money i've worked so hard to save, to only spend it on something that doesn't give me any answers to helping my dog. I feel so worthless, i got this dog thinking i could give her a happy life with me when all of a sudden i can't help her get healthy. Its driving me crazy.  i'm hoping that it might just be a form of a reaction to all the drugs she's taking... if not.. i don't have any options but just to wait.. At least we are getting to enjoy her sweet personality some more. My giant puppy gives me so much love, i don't know what i would do without it..

Athena is doing better!   Luckly we spent money that would actually get us some answers, and got her a urine culture. We found out that she has Ecoli in her system.. :/ Though the vet has no answer for how she got it. So now she is on a much stronger antibiotic and the swelling on her chest is going down. Now all that's left is a hard lump thats about a handful. We are getting a little worried now, because she is getting some light bruising from it. I'm just hoping that it goes all down and away. Thank you guys so much for your support. I'm seeing my puppy play again, and she wags her tail now too.   Its such a pleasure. I'm so happy that she's getting better. Just hoping that nothing else gets in the way. Thank you guys again!

I am asking you guys to please keep Athena in your prayers or thoughts.   Her condition is not so swell. We have given her many many tests, and nothing is coming up. The vets told me that she could have valley fever, but the result came in today negative. The only options left to do is do more test (which we cannot do at all due to money), try out different medications to see if they make a difference in her state, or the worst thing imaginable... putting her down. I don't want to put my 7 month old puppy down, i want to keep her for much longer than that.  But if she is in pain, then i'll have to make that terrible decision. So i'm asking that you please keep her in your prayers and thoughts. Please send her some good vibes. We need all the help we can get. We've asked some friends from church to help us in prayer, but since she's an animal they thought that a session of pray isn't worth it for her. For me, she is worth everything. I don't want to loose her. Please....
