Story:

Adriana annoyingly tapped her husband's shoulder with one hand, her other was busy carrying a mug of hot chocolate that lightly spilled from it's holder's movements. John was sitting at his desk, reading a novel about demons and angels. Not in the mood for his excited wife, who was waiting for him to react.
"What is it?" John asked, irritation clearly in his voice.
"I found it!" Adriana almost squealed after taking a gulp from her drink.
"You found the stash of the missing $200?" He asked sarcastically, his eyes never leaving his book.
"No, you dork" His wife replied, then adding "I found a Fox Friesian for sale!"
"A small canine with really furry feet doesn't sound like something to get so excited about." John said, continuing to pretend that he was still reading.
Adriana squinted at her husband, a typical face she does when she begins to get tired of his "jokes".
"He is no canine, but a gorgeous stallion." she said to him, almost pouting. Before she could continue telling him the details, John interrupted by saying, "You have more than enough horses, you don't need anymore."
Adriana sighed, she was exasperated. "You know very well that the company needs more quality horses in the program. Besides, the stallion comes at a fair price and he has some really amazing accomplishments."
John finally looked up from his book, "sounds too good to be true in my opinion" and pretended to continue reading as if the conversation had ended. Adriana rolled her eyes and took the book away from him. He scoffed at her when she closed the book with no book mark. An action she did, just to annoy him.
"I want him at our ranch" she stated. John shrugged his shoulders and then replied, "If you want him so much, then get him. When are you going out to see him?"
Adriana smiled coyly, "Tomorrow.." she stated. John chuckled while shacking his head, "your silly" he said.
She sat on his lap, put her arms around his head and said, "if I'm silly, that must mean your super silly for marrying a silly person like me".
John smiled at her remark. She leaned towards his face and gave him a quick peck on the cheek and then almost skipped out of the room.
"I am silly" he said to himself, and then picked up his book and tried to figure out where he last left off.
